The Swim Grid

The Swim Grid (Patent Pending) is a novel way of organizing swimmers’ information for meets. Have your swimmers use The Swim Grid and they may never miss another race! Manage bullpens easier by recommending The Swim Grid to competitors.

  • Get swimmers where they need to be
  • Mark Event / Heat / Lane with precision
  • Fits on even the smallest child’s arm
  • Apply with water in 30 seconds
  • Comes off easily with rubbing alcohol
  • Detailed instructions on the back of each tattoo

The Swim Grid is a carefully planned temporary tattoo for your swimmers’ arm or thigh. Pull The Swim Grid out of the packet, peel the plastic backing, and apply it to the skin with water from the tap or even from the pool. It’s perfectly sized right out of the package so there is nothing to trim with scissors – it will be just right for even the tiniest age-group swimmer’s arm!

In just 30 seconds, you’ll have a neatly organized canvass on which to write your swimmer’s Event, Heat, Lane, and the Stroke she or he is swimming. You can use a typical permanent marker (e.g. Sharpie), because the writing and the tattoo will both come right off with isopropyl alcohol when you’re done with the meet. We recommend 90% or greater alcohol for fastest removal, but the standard 70% concentration in common rubbing alcohol works just fine. No trace remains after removal, so you can use separate Swim Grids for each part of multi-day meets or prelim-final sessions.
